Welcome to Dr. James DeLapp, Dr. H. Candace DeLapp, and Dr Sarah Parsons dental care website. Our Denver area dentists provide general, family, and cosmetic dental services for patients in the Denver Metro area including Centennial, Lone Tree, Parker, Park Meadows,Greenwood Village, Parker, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Aurora and Ken Caryl area. Their Denver area dental office is conveniently located approximately two miles west of I-25 and Lincoln in Highlands Ranch at the East Ridge Medical complex. Dr. Sarah Parsons, has joined their Denver area dental office. Dr. Parsons graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in the spring of 2010. Dr. Parsons is accepting new patients in our Denver area dental office. In particular Dr. Parsons has a special interest in children’s dentistry. New patients establishing themselves   are eligible for custom teeth whitening trays. When you finish you dental exam…x-rays and teeth cleaning you are eligible for our teeth whitening system.

Our Denver dental office is not a typical health care office. Our dental office is dedicated to seeing you on time… every time Our dental office has a reception room… not a waiting room. Our dentists and hygienist each see only one patient at a time. Our goal is to give you “Ritz Carlton like service” for your dental care.  You have some many choices in receiving your dental care and hope our office has the opportunity to serve you.

What’s new with our Denver area dentists

Dr.’s DeLapp in the past few months have attended many different  continuing education courses exceeding over 100 hours.  These continuing education courses included courses on on Endodontics (root canals)… Cosmetic dentistry (AACD)… oral dental sedation and… moderate sedation (I.V.). The doctors are continuing their continuing education courses at University of Southern Colorado School of Dental Medicine (USC). A commitment to be life-long learners makes them better dentists. In addition they placed an embedded video on “How Invisalign works” in  this website. Please take the time to check it out.

“Want Based” dentistry

Our Denver dentists are dedicated to providing you with a service termed want based dentistry. Our goal to determine your overall dental health and give you options on any treatment and you decide if and when you”want” any dental treatment. armed with your options and alternatives you can choose your treatment.

They Practice What They Teach

Our Denver Dentists both are Clinical Instructors and teach at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine on a part-time basis.Dr. James DeLapp teaches Operative Dentistry, Fixed Prostodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry. This involves dental filling, dental crowns and dental veneers e.g. Dr. H. Candace DeLapp teaches Operative Dentistry and Removable Prostodontics. This involves dental fillings and partial and full dentures. Both doctors teach Clinical Dentistry on Fridays and is the reason why  they do not see patients of Fridays.

Giving Back to the Community… Volunteerism

The Dr’s DeLapp and Parsons give back to the community as a volunteer to several non-profit organizations each month.  The number of hours of volunteer service ranges from a minimum of 60 hours a month to over 100 hours a month. As an example, in January 2010 Dr.s DeLapp and Parsons will donate over 120 hours of volunteerism to various non-profits.  The following non-profit communities they give service to include:

  • University of Colorado Alumni Association
  • University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine
  • Kids in Need of Dentistry (KIND)
  • Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped
  • Colorado Swimming Inc.
  • Atlantis Community
